My mission is to transform current enterprises into data driven, digitally-interconnected and process optimized operations that provides deep, meaningful work for employees while ensuring minimum waste and maximizing outputs.  My objective is to harmonize people, process, systems and disruptive technologies into an effective, optimized operation that will reduce costs, improve how they serve their customers and ensure their leadership position in the new business landscape.

Santam: IFRS 17 Month-end Reporting Optimization. Engineering business processes, people and systems and technology to reduce turnaround times. Provide automation and digitization advisory to reduce turnaround times.

Media 24: Introduce Intelligent Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capability for On-The-Dot subsidiary. Objective to digitize collection note returns and Accounts Receivable invoicing (with 3 way matching) using machine learning OCR engines for straight through processing

bountiXP: Provide Digital transformation advisory through designing the automation strategy and customer pathway roadmap for Software-as-a-service platform

VINPRO: Design Protection of personal information (POPIA) Capability Model, gap analysis and processes that showcase risks and recommending controls to avoid privacy non-compliance.

Achievement Awards Group: Deliver agile process design for application development to support Distell Bansela Loyalty Program. Re-engineered processes to ensure streamlining, removing inefficiencies and clarifying roles and accountabilities.    

Distell: Strategy and insights workshop(s) on the future of work and robotics process automation integration into existing operations.

Various Customer Proof of Concepts (POCs): Integrating disruptive technology into operations which includes Process Mining, RPA, Intelligent OCR, Block-chain / Distributed Ledger, Artificial intelligence (predictive analytics) and Internet of Things (IoT) use cases.

2018 - 2019

ABInbev: Africa Zone: Led team in delivering services to the business transformation and digital disruptive efficiency divisions within the group. This consisted of engineering business processes, clarifying and designing new roles and FTE analysis, uncovering SLA’s, OLA’s, KPI’s and system integration. This included designing the Disruptive Automation capability in the group which included RPA integration and maturity. Focus areas were Payroll, Learning & Development, Employees Services.

2018

Little Green Beverages (known now as the Beverage Company): Re-engineered business process to obtain highest degree of  value creation. Included role clarification and gap analysis

2015 - 2019

Sanlam Group: Delivered Regulatory Technology (RegTech) integration to support Anti-money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT)  across the group impacting customer onboarding, maintenance and exit. Applied agile project delivery and design thinking methodologies to design new systems, integrate off the shelf system as well as engineer new business processes and Capability Model. Delivered training across the group to C-Suite executives and End Business Users

2014 - 2016

Sanlam Group: Protection of Personal Information (POPIA). Designed the Capability model and re-engineered business processes to reflect areas where information processed, designing the risk matrix, defining UDPs and making recommendations to mitigate non-compliance.

Business Partners Limited: Re-engineered business processes and organizational design to reduce turnaround times for processing SMME fund applications.

Coronation Fund Managers: re-engineered business processes, clarified roles and defined risk matrix for the Institutional and retail division.

2013

Vodacom: Protection of Personal Information (POPIA): Designed the Capability model and re-engineered business processes to reflect areas where information processed, designing the risk matrix, defining UDPs and making recommendations to mitigate non-compliance. Delivered change management and skills transfer to project team for scalable project delivery.

Takalani Sesame: Delivered Strategy Facilitation workshops integrating key stakeholders in designing the Target Operating Model. Included engagement with Sesame Workshop (New York), DBE, SABC, Kwasukasukela and Sanlam Life Insurance)

WHEAT Trust: Delivered Strategy Facilitation workshops for NGO in order to deliver against the Target Operating Model

Vodacom Enterprise Data Warehouse:

Re-engineered business processes and developed standard operating procedures for optimized delivery in expanding data warehouse capability across vendors and internal stakeholders.

Anglo American Platinum: Designed a Supplier Development Programme for Anglo Platinum to empower and develop local service providers.

2011

ArcelorMittal: Science Centre Strategy: Delivered Strategy facilitation in order to meet Target Operating Model and re-engineered critical business processes for optimization.

Grupo San Pablo Farmacia (Mexico City):

Defined business requirements and standardized business processes for an enterprise-wide POS system. This was to support their expansion strategy and included the training and development of a Process Management Office in Mexico.

2010

Vodacom Customer Contact Centre: Delivered Strategy facilitation in order to deliver against the Target Operating Model. Included re-engineering of business processes for optimization.

City of Cape Town: Mainstreaming the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) into the City. This consisted of process design and re-engineering, performance management, organisational structure and service delivery design.

2009

Pioneer Foods: Designed optimized innovation and new product development processes. The aim was to standardize and to improve turnaround times.

SCAD Foundation (Bangkok): Designed the optimized business process, people and system solution.

2008 - 2010

SAB Miller: Various Projects which include Marketing, Sales, Sustainable Enterprise Development, Legal etc. Aim was to improve efficiencies, streamline operations, close gaps and to clarify roles.

Greenway Farms: Designed the Organogram to ensure succession of the family business. Re-engineered business processes and defined roles for the new business model.

2007 - 2009

South African Post Office: Designed recommendations for an Enterprise Wide Organogram based on SAPO new business model. Re-engineered business process in order to obtain value to define the proposed Organogram.

2006 - 2013

BP: Worked on various projects ranging from License to Operate, Integrated Supply & Logistics, Supply Demand, FME Retail. This required re-engineering of business processes for optimization, system integration, role clarification, standard operating procedure design, process and individual performance indicator design.

2006 - 2009

PetroSA: Provide support to the lead business and process architect in re-engineering business processes, clarifying roles, defining KPIs and SLAs and designing Standard Operating procedures (SOPs). Areas include Shipping and Vessel Vetting, Trade, Supply & Logistics
